SACHHI DESIGN & COUTURE was established in Charlotte, NC 1999 by head fashion designer, Denise Sparks.  She presented her first Fall collection at the Charlotte International Fashion Week under the direction of Anthony Simons.

 

Sachhi Design & Couture's design celebrity clients have graced the red carpet at the Emmy and Grammy awards.  Denise has been invited to showcase and feature her collections at many Fashion Week events around the globe, including the JModel Management Paris show on the Seine River, Dubai, New York Fashion Week, Super Bowl Fashion Week in Atlanta, and recently, Milan, Italy Fashion Week.  ​Sachhi Design and Couture has been featured in newspapers and magazines nationwide.

The brand will also provide full-time employment for Women in Recovery who complete the SACHHI WOMEN Skills-Build-Empower non-profit home improvement and sewing design apprenticeship program.  

 

 

SPARKS A/C-HEATING & HOME IMPROVEMENTS (SACHHI)  

The company has been a family-owned, operated, and trusted company with over 30 years of experience and service to residents within Charlotte, Louisville, Atlanta, Houston, Florida, and their surrounding areas. The SACHHI team has traveled the country renovating homes for investors, homeowners, and real estate management companies, and is a former "HGTV's "FLIP THAT HOUSE" staff team contractor.

Founded in Charlotte, NC, in 1999, COO James Sparks has led a team of skilled professionals in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic residential and commercial renovations.  Mr. Sparks was responsible for implementing and building the Inspection Department for the City of Charlotte Section 8 Housing Authority.  James was also the first housing building instructor for the Houston Housing Training Institute in Texas and graduated over 200 women and men in the program.

Denise Sparks has provided the "female touch" to the company and is hands-on and skilled in all aspects of home improvement renovations and fire damage restorations.  Denise is also universally certified in HVAC-R and Solar Energy.  With over 20 years of experience in conventional and Section 8 apartment and property management Denise has supervised multi-million apartment and residential renovations,

Denise has received certifications, honors, and accolades for her community service, philanthropy, and mentorship through the Houston Apartment Association, Charlotte Business and Professional Women's Club, named Fashion Designer of the Year by Charlotte Post Newspaper, Volunteers of America National Housing, and was named Woman of the Year by the American Business Women's Association.  Denise Sparks participates as the female HVAC tech owner for the annual Habitat Women Build Houses program.  In 2017, James & Denise Sparks granted ownership of this family owned and operated company to their three adult children who worked by their parent's side to serve community and make the company successful.

SACHHI WOMEN'S HOME IMPROVEMENTS 

SACHHI WOMEN HOME IMPROVEMENTS was created to provide an un-biased, and fun environment for which skilled and experienced women in the home improvement industry can become a part of the team, provide impeccable service for our homeowners and clients, and enjoy the benefits of ESOP ownership within the company after one year tenure.  The company offers full-time employment careers for women in recovery and women with disabilities who successfully completes the SACHHI WOMEN Build - Skills - Empower apprenticeship training program.

DERBY CITY FASHION WEEK (DCFW)

In 2010, Denise Sparks created and founded Derby City Fashion Week in Louisville KY to provide a professionally produced platform for emerging fashion designers, photographers, hair stylist, and aspiring models to learn, showcase their talents and receive local, national and global recognition in the fashion industry while illuminating her hometown in fashion.  DCFW is Kentuckiana's first, and only premier Fashion Week event held each year in Louisville, KY.   Derby City Fashion Week is now recognized among Fashion Week events around the globe and has received Proclamation from the City of Louisville.
